Tell them, "I Care!"

Susie was happy to get her cologne from an e-company she’d ordered from, some weeks ago. The cologne was delightful, but a few samples of their different fragrances, would have been a nice inclusion. Maybe she would have made an additional purchase with them.

What do you include in your out-going packages to customers, beside the item they’ve ordered? Do you think your customer deserves a treat along with their purchase? To have happy customers who will return, time and again, include a complimentary  element in their package. How about a coupon for dollars off their next purchase? How about a movie ticket good for a showing at their neighborhood theatre? Include a handwritten thank-you note or a club card that would enable them to buy one, get one free!

Customers are the “lifeblood” of any company. Show them that you appreciate their business and include a gratitude token in your out-going customer orders!

  1. Sorry about that, Susie. Pay me a visit, and also make that suggestion to your favorite e-company. Customers are a business' lifeblood, however, helpful feedback can be a key to even better success.

    Including extras in orders is my gratitude gesture. I am always tickled when customers express kid-like joy.
